We sell veterinary medicine and related products

Our company is licensed in pharmaceutical distribution, general sales of veterinary medicine and general sales of poisonous and deleterious substances. We supply veterinary medicine and related products mainly to Ritto and Miho Training Centers, JRA Equestrian Park, JRA Horseracing School, JRA Equine Research Institute? Sports Science Research Center, Training and Research Centers and racecourses holding race meeting.

In particular, we have opened drugstores at Ritto and Miho Training Centers and assigned a full-time veterinarian and we are able to respond to emergency requests from the JRA Racehorse Hospital as well as from practicing veterinarians.

In order to avoid the contamination of drugs prohibited by the Horse Racing Act of Japan or prohibited through other notifications, our drugstores distribute only those products that have passed inspection by the inspection agency.

In regards to medical devices, we provide urine sample collection bottles, infusion sets and acupuncture needles, all which were developed by our company.

Our company has produced and delivered Saddle cloth and other racing gear to JRA, and TCK races, as well as for Graded races held at other local racecourses.

JRA’s Saddle cloth is classified into two major types.

We collect plastic bottles which are disposed of at racetracks, and recycle them into the fabric of Saddle cloths, as part of our engagement with environmental issues.

While we aim to provide lighter racing helmets, improvements are continuously made by having enhanced impact absorption, penetration resistance, and prevention of omission. The current “Third type” helmet was developed in 2002 after the first two types were produced in 1994 and 1998, respectively.

Our racing helmets have been regularly used by not only domestic jockeys but also by overseas top jockeys who acquire short term licenses to ride in Japan.

“Mikoma Green” is the product of compost which was recycled from used straws and horse manures in JRA Miho training center.

We are involved in printing and production of Racing Programs, Race Results Bulletins, etc.

Racing Programs are usually given out to the racing fans at the racecourses and the “WINS” off-track betting facilities. In addition, they are also widely used by members of the press, racing officials and stable-related personnel. Work on the Racing Programs begins after the declaration of starting order the day before the race meeting and it is a highly specific operation involving abrupt changes such as the removal of non-starters, changes of jockey as well as the ability to promptly manage the cancellation of a race meeting due to a change in date, and finally, delivering the programs to racecourses and WINS throughout the country by the morning of the next day.

Currently, we are using “RMS” Racing-Program Management System, which tracks in real time the progress from printing to delivery, to manage the delivery to all locations.

We carry out insurance agency business for group companies at the Insurance Department.

The processes that we conduct include consultation, application and renewal of casualty insurance and life insurance in addition to advising our customers on the most appropriate insurance for his or her needs.

We also offer prompt, detailed support and offer viable solutions in case of an emergency.
